Beth McGill is a highly accomplished artist whose unique work reflects her deep love of nature, especially the native species of Aotearoa.

Born and schooled in Palmerston North, Beth is driven by a lifelong passion for intricate detail, a quality clearly visible in her chosen medium: realistically painted feathers.

Her inspiration arises directly from the beautiful detail and character of the common and endangered birds, plants, and natural scenes of New Zealand. Beth's painting process is intuitive and unplanned; she simply starts with an idea and lets the work flow, balancing and changing elements as she goes.

Beth has built a significant reputation since her first exhibition in 2004, including a commission for the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa and being a consistently selected artist at prestigious events like the NZ Art Show (SAW)since 2013, with a sell-out show in 2022.
