Anthony Genet is a Nelson-based Glass Artist, with over 35 years of creative practice. Anthony is driven by experimentation & a desire to innovate in his creative processes, constantly pushing the boundaries & painterly qualities of glass.

Anthony fashions beautifully crafted hand-blown glass ranging from small jewellery pieces to vases, goblets, light shades & neon art. Anthony is essentially self-taught, driven by curiosity & a long-term infatuation with the glass medium. Glass has allowed Anthony to express his ideas in a beautiful way; to give life to his inner thoughts. His work allows people the chance to personally experience the magic qualities of molten glass. 
Anthony’s process includes making the molten glass from sand before shaping, colouring & working it into the desired form. The entire process takes a minimum of three days for each piece. His glass is held in collections locally & internationally.
