Discover a beautiful range of tableware inspired by the unique shells found on the shores of Aotearoa. Originally run by Royce Mc Glashen who retired in 2024, the studio in Brightwater, near Whakatū / Nelson, New Zealand has been brought back into operation by Josh and Coral.

Coral uses a variety of techniques to create her tableware, including ram-pressing, slip casting, hand building, and throwing. The glaze colours are sublime, echoing all the natural elements: sky, earth, water.

Mc Glashen tableware is both beautiful and functional. It is perfect for any occasion, from a casual meal with friends to a formal dinner party. It is also a great gift for overseas visitors, as it is a unique and authentic representation of New Zealand kaimoana / seafood.
