Penny Stotter is one of New Zealand's leading contemporary printmakers with a distinctive style born of her heritage & love of pattern-making. Stotter's pride in her homeland was honed during years spent in London, (UK) & Melbourne, (Aus) as a Graphic Designer. Upon returning to her roots, Penny began to employ motifs of New Zealand - unique flora & fauna, as well as, her vintage Māori doll (named Rua). 

Penny Stotters love for the pattern-making process is evident within the meticulous arrangement of various motifs & their final composition. Penny has developed unique ways to combine her natural artistic flair, with exceptional intricacies, made possible with new technology.
