Jeremy Leeming

Jeremy works from his Christchurch studio the 'Filing Kabinett' along with fellow jewellers Elfi Spiewack, Lynn Kelly, & Jeremy’s dog, Lola.

After graduating from Otago School of Art in 1992 with a Diploma in Craft & Design, as well as, completing an apprenticeship with Jens Hansen. Jen’s love of life & art & his Scandanavian aesthetic continues to remain relevant to Jeremy today.

Jeremy seeks to find simplicity in his jewellery practice, endeavoring to capture clean lines by using a reduced palette of materials. He has a fascination with the lasting qualities of New Zealand Jasper, Argillite, Basalt, & Pounamu. Jeremy’s priority is to ensure that each form resonates with the integrity of his chosen materials.

Jeremy feels lucky to be able to work as a full-time jeweller, a job he loves, & that brings him much joy & satisfaction.

We are proud to support, Jeremy Leeming!
