Waita Echo

Waita Echo - Original Painting | Elizabeth Morrison

Immerse your living space in the pure spirit of New Zealand with Waita Echo, a genuine one-off original painting created by Elizabeth Morrison, hand finished with stitched thread, representing the art of raranga - weaving.

Korimako sing in opposing directions. As they project their voices around the bush, you stand in stereo. Listen to voices from both sides for clarity.

The poutama design shows a series of steps representing education, learning, progress, and the ascent of Tāne-o-te-wānanga to Ranginui (the sky father).

Each thoughtful brushstroke reflects the richness of local craftsmanship, offering a rare opportunity to own a piece of art that resonates with spiritual and artistic meaning.
