Reretau

Reretau - Original Painting | Elizabeth Morrison

Discover a truly distinctive New Zealand made treasure with this captivating original painting from local artist Elizabeth Morrison.

The artwork lovingly showcases two European goldfinches flying amongst kōwhai, lightheartedly spinning a porotiti, blending spirited motion with gentle emotional depth.

A porotiti is a wind instrument often used to gain the rhythm and pitch for a waiata (song) or mōteatea (traditional chant).

It stands as an evocative symbol of adaptability, togetherness, and the unique natural moments that make our corner of the world so special.
