Organic Ceramic Plate

Organic Ceramic Plate | Strahan Clarke

Bring a sense of modern calm to your dining space with this exquisite ceramic plate, handcrafted in New Zealand by local artist Strahan Clarke.

Focusing on a soft, ethereal aesthetic, Clarke uses light blue reduction glazes to capture the quiet beauty of authentic gas-kiln firing.

The shallow, expansive form features a cool, misty finish punctuated by a single iron-spot birthmark, honoring the raw, elemental origins of the clay.

On the underside, hand-carved bespoke stamps deliver a hidden, tactile rhythm, while the irregular, organic rim offers a weathered, stone-like feel.
