Lancewood Leaf - Small

Lancewood Leaf - Small | Andi Regan

Handcrafted in New Zealand with meticulous artisan skill, this striking piece celebrates the fascinating wonder of the horoeka, our native lancewood tree.

Renowned throughout Aotearoa for the botanical marvel of heteroblasty, the horoeka radically transforms its form and leaf architecture as it matures from juvenile to adult.

This dramatic metamorphosis famously baffled early European botanists, who were so completely deceived by its shifting nature that they recorded the young and mature stages as two entirely distinct species.

By translating this story of adaptation, survival, and profound transformation into an authentic handcrafted artwork, this piece stands as an exceptional symbol of personal growth and resilience.

Infusing your living space with the wild ingenuity of New Zealand flora, this rare creation provides a captivating talking point for discerning art collectors.

Welcome the transformative spirit of native Aotearoa into your sanctuary today by claiming this extraordinary handcrafted horoeka artwork right now.
