Textural Earth Framed Print

The Textural Earth Framed Print is a profound, abstract landscape by Joanne Barrett, visually embodying her unique artistic process.

Drawn from her deep relationship with te whenua o Aotearoa, the print features a rich background of layered greens and blues that hint at the earth and sea.

This visual texture is crucial: the etched vertical lines represent the artist’s foundational technique, which are carved to denote whakapapa and generations of growth.

The bold, horizontal white band is a subsequent layer, forming a conceptualised horizon that highlights the relationship between the visible surface and the history beneath.

This unique work offers an elegant, powerful link to land and ancestry. Bring this compelling conceptual landscape into your collection.
