My Little Pig

Feature an authentic slice of art from Aotearoa inside your interior design with My Little Pig (Lik-Lik Pik Bilong Mi), an exclusive original painting by Nelson-based artist Candy Clarke.

This striking reverse-perspex original balances sharp modern presentation with expressive, light-catching palette work, encased in a custom handmade timber frame sourced by the artist during her travel adventures.

The smooth, high-gloss finish and intense color saturation deliver a sleek, contemporary centerpiece that standard canvas prints simply cannot match.

Each bespoke frame is a rare work of art in its own right, commissioned by Candy over 30 years ago and carved by Papua New Guinea artisans.

Drawing inspiration from traditional shield motifs, the timber undergoes an ancient burning process that protects it naturally against the elements, mold, and insects. Candy then completes the journey in her Aotearoa studio, applying locally harvested natural wax to highlight the charred grain with a delicate, velvety sheen.

Hand-crafted with meticulous detail in Aotearoa, this vibrant artwork provides design lovers with a completely unique connection to local creative talent.
