Every Mountain, Every Sun Vase

Every Mountain, Every Sun Vase | Emma Walker

Step into the vivid imagination of local artisan Emma Walker with this breathtaking New Zealand made sculptural vase, a celebration of the majesty of mountains, both great and small, and the natural world beyond them.

The surface is beautifully hand-sculpted in the sgraffito method, with an intricate mountain vista in rich tones of red and deep blue.

The mountain symbolises the challenges we encounter in life, while the sun represents enduring hope and possibility. Inspired by the thought that no matter how tall the mountain, it cannot block the sun, this piece reflects on resilience, perspective and our place within something greater.

A striking high-gloss glaze perfectly highlights the swirling textural details against the dramatic background.
