Blazing King Proteas Vase

Blazing King Proteas Vase | Emma Walker

Step into the vivid imagination of talented local artisan Emma Walker with this breathtaking New Zealand made sculptural vase.

The piece captures the raw energy and exuberance of a New Zealand summer, with the artist's hand carved Protea Flowers blazing across its surface.

The design is carved through layers of underglaze to create an expressive, rhythmic surface in striking red and white that celebrates the energy and movement of the natural world.

Vibrant reds and flowing forms evoke the heat, intensity and movement of the season, almost like a dance.

"I wanted to capture that feeling of summer at its most alive — powerful, untamed and full of vitality." Emma Walker
