Bryant's artwork illustrates the various ideologies of identity & the sense of belonging. Her artistic practice is exploring the themes surrounding the decision-making process of belonging & how a location is explored & tested until a connection is found.

Michele embeds underlying information within the surface texture of her work, detailing the layered thought process around varied location departures & returns. Repetitive motifs are seen within Michele Bryant's work, Trees & Horses - are signifiers of Bryant's rural upbringing, planes, text & numbers - are the personal reminders of time, ages or travel locations.

Originally trained as a Printmaker & Textile Artist, Michele uses a range of mediums to create her work & expression.
