The work is a sophisticated study in suspension, featuring a luminous block of fossilised New Zealand Kauri Gum held within a minimalist stainless steel frame.

A significant slab of iridescent Mother of Pearl (MOP) sits atop the golden resin, creating a tactile contrast between the deep earth and the shifting light of the ocean.

Adcock’s industrial aesthetic is on full display here, using heat-treated steel accents that add a hint of iridescent blue and violet to the structural cage.
