Carved by Jeremy Walsh, this Pounamu Peka Peka is a complex study in symmetry and traditional form.

The twin-headed figure, representing the native bat, is wrought from a mossy greenstone with beautiful translucent edges that catch the light when displayed.

The detail is sharp and deliberate, featuring Paua and red wax eyes that give the piece a piercing, lifelike presence.

Resting on a rugged, live-edge Kauri base, the work balances the fine, rhythmic curves of the carving with the raw texture of ancient timber. 

It’s a punchy, high-prestige sculpture that serves as a powerful guardian piece for any space.
