"Making and creating art that others appreciate gives me more complete satisfaction than anything else I’ve ever done.
Every piece carries a part of my identity and, I hope, imbues a sense of calm and serenity.
I feel so fortunate that people appreciate my work and it’s not really about who made it, but what it is.

I have adapted my tools and processes to suit my personal need to be unique and have my own style.
I love the idea of repurposing and recycling materials. No plastic here, baby!
People who buy my work should know that they are purchasing a piece made by a sharing, caring humanist who believes there is profit in good."
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with us, Mat!
