Medina Koni continues her profound exploration of human experience in Te Kete Roimata, a deeply moving component of her woven series. This beautiful muka kete holds the emotional side of our journeys, focusing on the things we carry deep within our hearts.

The artwork is inspired by the comforting reflection that our tears are safely collected and held.

The delicate, tear-shaped ngore woven across the exterior give a stunning visual to this kōrero, reminding us that our emotions are never wasted, but are seen, held, and gathered.

Exploring themes of grief, joy, and healing, this exquisite piece illustrates how our feelings become a vital part of our wisdom, bringing a soulful narrative and an elegant warmth to any contemporary space.
