Paora masterfully assembles a palette of Mahogany, Rimu, and Kauri, allowing the distinct natural grains and golden hues of the wood to contrast against the deep, blackened textures of Charred Western Red Cedar.

These organic tones are punctuated by bold accents of purple, lavender, and deep plum, creating a contemporary dialogue between traditional materials and modern colour.

Each individual element is meticulously finished, with the charred cedar and fine linework evoking traditional Māori weaving and carving motifs.
