Lion Rock #3 - Woodblock Print |  Nic Tucker

Lion Rock is an iconic volcanic neck and landmark situated at Piha on Auckland's rugged West Coast. Standing between North and South Piha beaches, this 16-million-year-old formation is known as Te Piha to the local iwi, Te Kawerau ā Maki. Historically serving as a strategic pā site, the rock remains a place of significant Māori cultural heritage. It is a dominant feature of the landscape, surrounded by the world-famous surf and distinctive black iron sands of the Tasman Sea coast.

Inspired by her understanding of the importance of land, and its connection to people, Nic Tucker creates woodblock prints of New Zealand landscapes that she produces on a printing press located in her Napier studio. From a limited edition of 75, this stunning print of Te Mata Peak has been individually signed and numbered by Nic, and is available framed or unframed.

Unframed Dimensions:
Width - 600mm x Height - 350mm

Limited Edition: 75 Prints

Please Note - Due to Nic Tucker's print process and approach, there may be variations within the colours and textures - making each print unique in nature. The overall essence of the print will remain the same and true to the visual representation seen within the imagery.

The 'in situ mockup' is merely an example of visual representation within an environment and it does not truly reflect the size of the work. Please refer to the measurements above for the exact dimensions of this print.
