Based in Napier, Pam Wildbore creates vibrant resin works that explore the powerful connection between colour and emotion.

This circular work, titled Relaxation, is a "button" of colour masterfully rendered in resin on a wood panel. The composition features a dual-layered design a koru placed atop a reverse koru—using a palette of Fluoro Yellow, Turquoise Deep, and Prussian Blue.

This layering technique, finished with a block colour on top, creates a striking contrast that brings out the immense depth and movement within the stone-like finish.

More than just a study in colour, the piece is a symbolic tribute to new beginnings and peace. Each fluid curve translates the growth and support inherent in the koru form, offering an uplifting and grounded focal point for any wall.
