Strahan Clarke shifts from the verticality of his pedestal cups to the grounded, expansive form of the Organic Ceramic Plate. This shallow, wide-set vessel acts as a canvas for the deep, liquid-like tones of his high-fire reduction glazes.

Using a bespoke hand-carved stamp along the exterior and foot, Clarke adds a tactile rhythm that anchors the piece, offering a secret detail for the user to discover upon handling.

With its organic, slightly asymmetrical silhouette, the work feels as though it has been shaped by natural forces rather than a machine.

It is a functional sculpture that brings a sophisticated, earthy presence to the table, celebrating the raw beauty and weighted permanence of stoneware.
