Tāwharanui #1 - Woodblock Print | Nic Tucker
Tāwharanui is a coastal regional park near Auckland, known for being both New Zealand's first integrated open sanctuary and a popular recreation spot.
IIt features white sand beaches, pristine waters, native forests, and regenerating wetlands, and is protected by a pest-proof fence that keeps it a sanctuary for native species like kiwi, bellbirds, and takahē.
Inspired by her understanding of the importance of land, and its connection to people, Nic Tucker creates woodblock prints of New Zealand landscapes that she produces on a printing press located in her Napier studio.
Unframed Dimensions:
Width - 280mm x Height - 240mm
Limited Edition: 1/88 Prints
Please Note - Due to Nic Tucker's print process and approach, there may be variations within the colours and textures - making each print unique in nature. The overall essence of the print will remain the same and true to the visual representation seen within the imagery.
