Strahan Clarke focuses on a soft, ethereal aesthetic that highlights the quiet beauty of light grey reduction glazes.

The plate features a cool, misty grey finish with subtle tonal shifts that reveal the atmospheric hand of the gas kiln. Its shallow, expansive form acts as a minimalist canvas, punctuated by a single iron-spot "birthmark" that serves as a reminder of the raw, elemental origins of the clay.

On the underside, Clarke incorporates his signature bespoke hand-carved stamps, providing a hidden, tactile rhythm for the hands to discover. The irregular, organic rim gives the piece a found-in-nature feel, as if the stone-like vessel was weathered over time rather than thrown on a wheel.
