Meg Cummins masterfully balances the brooding, dark peaks against the vibrant, sun-lit tussock of the alpine environment. 

The perfectly mirrored reflection in the still water of the tarn creates a symmetrical composition that feels both grounded and ethereal.

Set within a contemporary black float frame, the work uses a moody palette of deep slates and golden ochres to convey the silent, vast beauty of the Southern Alps.
