Strahan Clarke plays with sharp tonal contrast in this edition of his organic plate series. The interior is finished in a smooth, misty grey glaze that flows to the edge, where it meets a bold, tactile transition.

The exterior and base are finished in a deep, matte black, grounding the piece with a modern, stone-like gravity. This dark underside features Clarke’s signature bespoke hand-carved stamps, providing an intricate, geometric surprise that contrasts with the fluid, hand-formed rim.

The slight asymmetry and visible potter's marks lend the piece a sense of movement, as if it is still holding the energy of the wheel.
