Strahan Clarke brings a delicate, illustrative touch to this stoneware piece, using the clay as a canvas for nature-inspired storytelling.

The vessel is adorned with hand-etched floral and grass motifs, captured within soft, circular "windows" of warm light brown. These earthy tones contrast with the cool, stony grey glaze, highlighting the artist's focus on the tactile relationship between the user and the object.

Presented on a rugged, stone-like pedestal, the cup is elevated from a simple vessel to a collectible sculpture. This pairing honours the intimate ritual of use, reminding us that functional objects can also be deeply meaningful.

The textured edges of the base anchor the piece, allowing the fine, detailed carvings to truly take center stage.
