Strahan Clarke continues his exploration of tactile ritual with this stoneware set, featuring a heavily textured surface created with a bespoke hand-carved stamp.

The intricate, honeycomb-like pattern wraps around the vessel and extends across the matching pedestal, inviting the holder to engage with the piece through touch. This textured "skin" is finished in a sophisticated palette of muted grey and deep, wine-red, capturing the atmospheric variations of the high-heat firing process.

By elevating the cup upon its own adorned pedestal, Strahan celebrates the intimate act of use turning the simple movement of lifting a vessel to one's lips into a deliberate, meditative experience.

The rugged, organic edges of the base provide a grounded contrast to the refined silhouette of the cup, making this a unique sculptural work that remains deeply functional.
