Castlepoint is a scenic coastal area in New Zealand, famous for its iconic lighthouse, 162-meter-high Castle Rock, and safe swimming beaches with a sheltered lagoon. It is a popular holiday spot for activities like swimming, surfing, fishing, and hiking, and is also known for its fossil-rich limestone reef, sand dunes, and abundant marine life.

Inspired by her understanding of the importance of land, and its connection to people, Nic Tucker creates woodblock prints of New Zealand landscapes that she produces on a printing press located in her Napier studio.
