Printmaking Technique
"My Giclée Prints are original artworks specifically designed to be printed using the contemporary method of digital printing. In order to retain raw, printerly quality to my Giclée Prints, the artworks are first printed using traditional methods such as intaglio & relief. The designs are then layered with other images such as original, delicate graphite drawings. The final step in the process is to emboss the print using a woodcut. The complete Giclée Artworks are rich, tactile prints that retain the essence of the printmaking mark". - Susan Haywood-Smith
