Tewhatewha (long axe weapon) carved from Black Wattle, with a cast glass Manaia, lashed with coconut fibre, adorned by feathers and atop a metal and wooden base.


"Tewhatewha Traditionally the weapon is used with 2 hands and used for both fighting and signaling during battle.  The axe shaped blade, with a bunch of feathers (designed to confuse the opponent in battle) and also to help the user signal to his followers". Mike Cameron
