Nick Spicer is an award winning carver who works under the name 'Kawakawa Stone'. He is heavily influenced by the natural environment, and enjoys the way that carving helps him connect with nature, and to channel his own creative representations though a contemporary organic style. This beautiful pounamu pendant is bound with an adjustable cord which enables the wearer to choose their optimal length. Similar in shape to a koru and a manaia, the coiled form of this koropepe is said to symbolise a curled eel and provides protection for the wearer.
Diameter - 54mm
While the size, shape, and design of this pendant will closely match the photographed piece, please bear in mind that each stone has its own identity and is uniquely different in colour and character.
