He is heavily influenced by the natural environment, and enjoys the way that carving helps him connect with nature, and to channel his own creative representations through a contemporary organic style. This beautiful pounamu pendant is bound with an adjustable cord which enables the wearer to choose their optimal length. The hei matau (fish hook), has multiple meanings and is most well known for bringing good luck and providing safe travel-especially across water.
