Collection: Penelope Barnhill

Penelope Barnhill is an established Jeweller based in Auckland. After completing a double degree in Visual Communication/Craft Design (Majors - Print Making & Sculpture/3D Design), Barnhill was awarded an emerging artist grant from Creative NZ. Years later, Penelope has made the most of all opportunities that have arisen. Her work has been collected worldwide by private collectors & she has been featured in over eighty exhibitions both nationally & internationally.

The inspiration behind Penelope's work is found in nature & people. Barnhill enjoys creating unique jewellery pieces for individuals to wear which represent love, sentiment, strength & endearment. Botanical elements, hearts & crosses are recurring themes - Barnhill admitting, she likes making jewellery that looks old, that has a feeling of its own life, in its own whimsical & enchanted way.
