Handmade with Muka (flax fibre) handles. The round four plait is usually used for Poi handles as it lets the Poi swing in all directions without putting it off course.
The Poi (ball) is made from Raupo. Using traditional (pre-european) Maori materials and techniques these Poi are made to be used.
Each pair is carefully handmade and unique.
The Poi (ball) measures approximately 70mm diameter x 110mm long
