This piece is a limited edition of 20 units. It has been professionally hand screen printed by Artrite onto pine plywood. It is signed and numbered by Shane. The pine plywood used in each piece is unique by the differnet garin patterns and layers running through it. The wood tells a story with all its imperfections, scars, knots, scratches and dents, showing a vulnerability and honesty. The raw wood finish and raw edge allows for all the layers to be visible, contrasting with the clean, crisp, sharp edges of the overlaid visuals.

The piece measures 800mm x 800mm.

Shane Hansen is of Maori, Chinese and European decent. He comes from a line of painters and artists. Shane has been a visualiser for the best part of 30 years and has had successful careers in fashion design, marketting and advertising. Shane is now following his passioin and has become a creator of visually pleasing and engaging art pieces.
